YEDS is a non-profit organization established in 2010 and formally registered as an NGO in 2023.
We envision a society where youth and women participation is valued and integrated at all levels of national development.
The organization empowers the youth and women through capacity-building initiatives, advocacy programs, and strategic partnerships for sustainable community development.
About Us
We are a dedicated and hands-on group of community members focused on the empowerment of youth and women for community development.
Our establishment was inspired by the pressing need to tackle critical issues facing the youth today, including: delinquency, unemployment, gender inequality, the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), unintended pregnancies, early marriages, , drug and substance abuse, and the pervasive challenges of climate change.
